With a Government grant, the cost to the customer of a fully installed Chiltern Future Energy 1 kilowatt peak (kWp) bolt-on module system starts at £3,800 plus VAT.

The maximum domestic grant payable under the Low Carbon Buildings Programme is £3000 per kWp or 50% of costs up to a maximum of 5kWp for PV, £1000/kW up to 5kW for wind and £400 for solar hot water systems.
